Strip Parquet
Strip parquet is a solid hardwood parquet that must be installed by gluing it to the subfloor. Unfinished solutions must be sanded and finished with suitable color oil or stained and lacquered after installation. Strip parquets are mostly 10-22mm thick, and the layer for sanding is thick. The width mostly varies between 50-80mm and the length between 300-800mm. In addition to the usual English pattern installation, strip parquet can also be installed in a herring bone pattern, square pattern and also in more complex patterns. Making friezes along the walls is also common. Strip parquet is also suitable for installation on heated concrete floors, and since the parquet is made entirely of dense precious wood, it is also a fairly good heat conductor. In the case of underfloor heating, it is recommended to use max. 16 mm thick strip parquet.
In addition to the usual unfinished strip parquet, we also offer strip parquet pre-sanded and beveled by the factory, as well as strip parquet finished with varnish or oil. There is a good selection of different colors to choose from.
Strip Parquet – Classic Parquet Made Entirely of Hardwood

-
Preserves the natural beauty and value of the wood for decades
Versatile laying options
-
Allows different laying patterns (herringbone, square pattern, friezes, etc.)
-
Patterns can be combined in the same or different rooms to create a unified design
Installation – only by full-surface gluing to the subfloor
Why can’t strip parquet be installed as a floating floor?
It is solid wood which, as a natural material, expands and contracts – that is why glue-down installation is the only suitable method, ensuring stability and a long service life.
Advantages of glue-down installation
-
Allows patterned designs (herringbone, square pattern, friezes)
-
Suitable for rooms with underfloor heating – using a special polyurethane primer and elastic adhesive
-
Lower thermal resistance and better footstep noise reduction compared to floating installation
-
Allows trim-free, visually seamless transitions without the need for expansion joints between rooms
