Strip Parquet – Classic Parquet Made Entirely of Hardwood

Strip parquet is a traditional and timeless parquet solution made from 100% hardwood. Its strong construction allows for a wide variety of laying patterns – from classic herringbone and square patterns to the English (ladder) pattern. You can also create border friezes along the walls, giving the floor an even more elegant and exclusive look.

Finishing options

Why can’t strip parquet be installed as a floating floor?

It is solid wood which, as a natural material, expands and contracts – that is why glue-down installation is the only suitable method, ensuring stability and a long service life.

Advantages of glue-down installation

  • Allows patterned designs (herringbone, square pattern, friezes)

  • Suitable for rooms with underfloor heating – using a special polyurethane primer and elastic adhesive

  • Lower thermal resistance and better footstep noise reduction compared to floating installation

  • Allows trim-free, visually seamless transitions without the need for expansion joints between rooms
