Lamel Parquet
Lamel parquet is a smaller size than strip parquet and is as well entirely made of precious wood. Lamel parquet does not have a tongue and groove connection. Compared to strip parquet, lamel parquet is easier to install because the lamellas are placed on the base of grid to a different patterns. Regardless of the fact that lamel parquet is only 10 mm thickness it has a large reserve of sanding up to 7-8x times.
Lamel parquets are suitable for installation on plywood/OSB or concrete using the fully glued method. Lamel parquet is suitable for use with most types of floor heating, and since the parquet is entirely made of dense precious wood and is only 10mm thick, lamel parquet has very good thermal conductivity. Lamellar parquets are delivered as unfinished, and after installation, the parquet needs to be sanded and finished with suitable color finish like varnish, oil or oil wax in combination with stains or color oils.
