Walnut Chevron Parquet Esta Nova Eco AB extra matt lacquered is a chevron (French herringbone) parquet floor by the Estonian manufacturer Esta Parket – American walnut, tone natural, grade AB. The floor has the deep, natural chocolate-brown tone of walnut.
Esta Parket – chevron parquet flooring
Esta Nova Eco belongs to Esta’s new-generation Nova floors: a 13 mm, 100% wood multi-layer construction with a European oak top layer. Nova floors have fixed dimensions and are fully recyclable; scratches can be refreshed with a Bona care product without sanding. Each pack contains both right-hand and left-hand blocks (R+L) with tongue-and-groove joints for laying the pattern.
Tone and grade
AB is a natural walnut grade with natural colour variation, sound knots up to 25 mm and colour-matched lighter sapwood. The result is a warm, luxurious floor.
Surface finish
The surface is finished with Esta Parket’s durable extra matt lacquer with a gloss level of only 10–15%. Extra matt lacquer looks as natural as an oiled floor but is just as easy to clean and maintain as a traditional lacquered floor. The lightly brushed surface is smooth while the wood structure remains subtly tangible. Bevelled on all four sides, the blocks accentuate the pattern and the shape of each piece.
Installation and underfloor heating
The floor is installed by gluing it to the subfloor, which ensures quiet footfall and good heat transfer. Esta parquet is suitable for rooms with underfloor heating: the recommended relative humidity is 40–60% and the floor surface temperature up to 27 °C.
