Blooming Ash is a cool ash-grey shade – a contemporary, neutral surface.
ABK Era is a stone collection of full coloured body porcelain (gres porcellanato a massa colorata, group BIa GL) inspired by pebble-rich stones such as Lombardy’s “Ceppi” and Ambrosia slabs from northern Greece. Two patterns are cut from the same stone block: the more uniform Delicate (flat cut) and the “flowery” Blooming (cross cut) with larger inclusions. Groove is a slightly textured décor recreating a chipped line, and Mix a strip décor. Shades Ivory, Beige, Taupe and Ash; sizes 120×280 cm (6 mm) and 120×120, 80×80, 60×120, 60×60 and 30×60 cm (8.5 mm) in natural, lappato and R11 finishes, plus 20 mm OUT.20 outdoor tiles.
The OUT.20 surface is slip-resistant (R11) and frost-resistant; the 20 mm tile can be glued to concrete or laid loose on gravel, sand or adjustable pedestals.
In full coloured body porcelain, the body of the tile is tinted right through its thickness in the same shade as the surface – if the surface is ever chipped or worn, it is far less noticeable. Read more: Ceramic tiles – their different properties and solutions.
