Parquet Flooring Bauwerk Formpark Mini 570 Smoked Oak 24 oiled deep brushed is a design parquet by the Swiss manufacturer Bauwerk from the Formpark Mini 570 collection in the colour Smoked Oak.
Bauwerk Formpark Mini 570 – design parquet
Formpark Mini is the smaller version of Formpark: 190 mm wide elements in lengths of 570 or 380 mm, 9.5 mm thick with a 2.5 mm oak top layer on HDF. The four-side bevelled elements can be laid in dozens of patterns – from shipdeck to herringbone and field patterns.
Colour and grade
Smoked oak is dark, smoky and earthy – the colour comes from a natural reaction in the wood rather than a stain, and goes deep into the wood. Grade 24 is moderately lively: smaller knots and natural colour variation add life to the surface while the overall look stays calm.
Surface finish
The surface is natural oiled at the factory. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, brings out the grain and leaves the floor with a warm, matt and natural feel. Minor wear can be repaired locally and the surface refreshed with Bauwerk care oil. The deep-brushed surface has a strong texture – you can feel the grain under your hand.

Two-layer parquet is fully glued to the subfloor with a suitable parquet adhesive (Bauwerk recommends e.g. MS40). Full-surface bonding gives quiet footfall, a stable floor and good heat transfer. The parquet is suitable for hot-water underfloor heating – follow the requirements of Bauwerk’s installation instructions (surface temperature up to 29 °C).
Skirtings and stair solutions in the same tone
Matching skirting boards and stair nosings can be ordered from Bauwerk in the same tone and finish, so that the floor, skirtings and stairs form a harmonious whole. Ask our customer service for a quote – we will help you choose the right profiles and sizes.
