Description
Oak Parquet Flooring Esta CD Latte UV oiled is a 1-strip engineered wood floor by the Estonian manufacturer Esta Parket – oak, tone Latte, grade CD. The floor has a light, warm beige tone.
Esta Parket – 1-strip engineered flooring
The board is 14 mm thick with a stable 3-layer construction: a 3 mm hardwood top layer, a softwood core and a moisture-resistant birch veneer base that balances the board and keeps it straight. The wood is slowly dried at the Esta factory for about 45 days, so the floor is stress-free and durable.
Tone and grade
CD is a rustic grade with strong colour variation, sapwood and an unlimited number of sound knots; larger filled knots and cracks are also allowed. Ideal if you want a characterful, country-style floor.
Surface finish
The surface is finished with UV-cured oil (gloss level 4–6%). UV oil emphasises the natural texture of the wood and gives a warm, matt look; the floor is maintained with care products for oiled parquet. The lightly brushed surface is smooth while the wood structure remains subtly tangible. The bevelled long edges emphasise each board and give the floor a classic plank look.
Installation and underfloor heating
The boards feature a high-quality glueless Unilin click joint for quick floating installation on an underlay; if required, the floor can also be glued to the subfloor. Esta parquet is suitable for rooms with underfloor heating: the recommended relative humidity is 40–60% and the floor surface temperature up to 27 °C.
Why choose Esta Parket?
Esta Parket has been manufacturing engineered parquet in Estonia since 1991. The entire production cycle – from drying the wood to packing – takes place at its factory in Maardu. The wood comes from responsibly managed forests (FSC) and the parquet meets M1 and E1 emission requirements – formaldehyde emissions are about four times lower than permitted, so Esta floors are also suitable for allergy sufferers.
