Description
Floorboards Oak Country
The Country grade features a lively color variation with strong differences in tone and structure. This floorboards grade allows large sound and broken knots, filled cracks, and some sapwood, which contribute to the floor’s natural warmth. Knots, color variations, filled cracks, and sapwood are permitted.
These 2-layer floorboards consist of an 11.5mm moisture-resistant birch plywood base and a 4mm noble oak top layer. The edges are beveled on two sides, and the boards are sanded and finished with oil. These floorboards can be sanded 3-4 times.
The floorboards are suitable for full-surface glue-down installation on plywood, OSB, or concrete. The 2-layer flooring is an excellent solution when a wider board is desired for installation on underfloor heating surfaces. Compared to solid oak flooring, this product offers significantly greater stability.
Advantages of Floorboards Oak Country Full-Surface Gluing
Full-surface gluing is one of the best installation methods for achieving a durable, stable, and long-lasting floor covering. This method involves gluing the entire surface of the planks to the subfloor, providing several benefits:
Increased stability and durability
Reduced footstep and impact noise
Ideal for underfloor heating, ensuring faster heat transfer
No need for expansion joints between rooms
