Waste and extras – what else to buy
The waste is not included in the basin price – choose it on the product page. If you already have a suitable waste or buy it elsewhere, choose “Without waste”. A basin without overflow needs an unslotted open waste (no plug). You will also need a tap and a trap.

Installation
The inset basin is fitted into a cut-out in the worktop so that its rim rests on the top. There is no tap hole – the tap is mounted on the worktop or wall. As the basin has no overflow, choose an unslotted open waste (available as an option).
Material
Silkstone® is a monolithic stone composite developed by PAA that is homogeneous through its whole thickness. It consists of 60% natural mineral, vacuum-mixed with resin and cured at high temperature. The surface is silky, warm and matt and is finished by hand. In tinted basins the pigment runs through the material, not just on the surface.

Care
For daily cleaning a damp cloth or soft sponge with a mild detergent is enough; a mild abrasive cleaner can be used on the matt surface if needed. Avoid strong acids and acetone. Minor scratches can easily be polished out.
