What is thermo-ash?
Thermo-ash is ash wood that has been treated at high temperatures without any chemical preservatives. Heat treatment makes the wood more stable, reduces moisture absorption and improves its resistance to decay.
Do thermo-ash decking boards need oiling?
Untreated thermo-ash weathers to a silvery grey over time, which doesn't affect the durability of the wood. If you want to keep its warm brown tone, oil the deck regularly with a pigmented decking oil.
What is the difference between HS-Classic and HS-Clean boards?
HS-Classic boards have a grooved surface that is less slippery when wet. HS-Clean boards have a smooth surface that is easier to clean and gives the deck a more modern, cleaner look.
