Long lifespan: If properly maintained, solid wood floors can last for several generations.
Low footfall noise: Solid wood floors produce minimal footfall noise, and objects falling on them don’t produce impact noise. Solid wood floors offer a pleasantly quiet solution.
Good thermal conductivity: Dense wooden parquets, such as oak and ash, conduct heat well and are suitable for underfloor heating.

Additional information:
When installing for underfloor heating, avoid using large format boards. Also, the right chemical products, such as leveling compounds, primers, and adhesives, should be selected for solid wood floor installation.
Certain wood types, like beech, Canadian maple, jatoba, and acacia, are not suitable for underfloor heating installation. Also, using too thick softwood floorboards isn’t a good idea as the thermal resistance would be too high. Especially low thermal resistance is provided by dense wood thin solutions of 8-10mm such as mosaic parquets, industrial parquets, lamella parquets, and strip parquets.
Teak ship deck is excellent for damp spaces, such as bathrooms, because teak wood doesn’t rot. However, it’s essential to note that frequent contact with cleaning chemicals, especially under the shower, requires the ship deck to undergo more frequent maintenance.
